International Federation of Automatic Control World Congress is an international conference on world-class system control, 3,500 people from 80 countries gathered in Yokohama.
It was the first time in 42 years that the event was held in Japan since it was held in Kyoto in 1981.
Many media outlets also reported that Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress were in attendance.
